DESCRIPTION Model 5422 is a custom designed TEMPERATURE: -65°F TO 350°F permanent magnetic generator that provides electrical power over a wide speed range for a FADEC system used COOLING: OIL BATH on a business jet engine. The rotor is a sealed segmented unit employing high energy magnets. The specially ALTITUDE: 0 TO 50,000 FT. epoxied coated stator laminations and windings are held in place by a stainless steel housing designed for COMPLIANCE: MIL-STD-461B engine pad mounting. The generator MIL-STD-462 shares a common shaft for a hydraulic MIL-STD-810D pump and is driven from an engine accessory gear box. MIL-STD-704D OUTLINE DETAILS
