✄ VMIVME-7455 Single-Slot VMEbus IDE CD-ROM Drive Module ✪✄✰✮✄✯❊❘�✄✬❙◗❚❊❘ • 24X IDE CD-ROM drive or faster • Standard VMEbus 6U single-slot form factor • Utilizes VMEbus P2 to connect to single-board computer (SBC) INTRODUCTION — The VMIVME-7455 is a 6U single-slot VMEbus passive board that holds a Multisession Photo CD-ROM drive that is compatible with CD-I, Video CD, Enhanced CD, and CD PLUS. The VMIVME-7455 is designed to interface to VMIC’s line of VMEbus P2-compatible SBC boards. These SBC boards connect to the VMIVME-7455 via the P2 IDE connection, thus eliminating any cable clutter on the front panel and configured as a slave. Refer to the compatible SBC list in this specification. The VMIVME-7455 should be in an adjacent slot to the VMIVME-7452 and the SBC when integrated with the following SBCs: VMIVME-7589, -7589A, -7591, -7592, -7695, -7698, -7740, and -7750.
