Prox-1280 TM VIA Eden Low Power Full-size CPU Card With VGA/Sound/LAN Prox-1280 is a full-size CPU card TM built-in with VIA Eden low power CPU at speed of 400/667MHz, VGA, Sound, LAN and other enhanced I/O interfaces. It is suitable for systems required a card controller with multi- functions. It has VGA function (up to 32MB share memory) built-in VIA CLE266 chip to simultaneously display both CRT monitor and LCD panel. Together with the VGA function, Prox- 1280 is also equipped with Realtek ALC201A AC'97 Codec sound chip providing stereo full duplex multimedia environment to achieve conferencing and communication. All these features help the Prox-1280 to perform the best quality of graphic image, animation and sound. It also provides solutions for networking systems. Embedded with VIA VT6103, the CPU card supports 10/100 Base-TX fast Ethernet. It has two 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets supporting up to 2GB DDR DRAM, one Compact Flash slot, and one PPCI bus for other expanded applications. Other features include a 32-pin SSD socket supporting Disk-on-chip up to 288MB, 2 EIDE interfaces, 4 USB 2.0, 1 parallel, and 2 COM ports, one of which can be configured as RS- 232/422 or RS-485.
