Prox-1260 TM VIA Eden Low Power Half-size Card with VGA/Sound/LAN Prox-1260 is a half-size CPU card TM built-in with VIA Eden Low Power CPU at speed of 400/667MHz, VGA, Sound, LAN and other enhanced I/O inter- faces. It is suitable for compact size systems required a card controller with multi-functions. It has VGA function (up to 32MB share memory) built-in VIA VT8606 chip (Code: Twister) to simul- taneously display both CRT monitor and LCD panel. Together with the VGA function, Prox-1260 is also equipped with Realtek ALC201A AC'97 Codec sound chip providing stereo full duplex multimedia environment to achieve conferencing and com-munication. All these features help the Prox-1260 to perform the best quality of graphic image, animation and sound. It also provides solutions for networking systems. Embedded with Realtek 8100BL, the CPU card supports 10/100 Base-TX fast Ethernet. It has one 144-pin SO-DIMM socket supporting up to 512MB DRAM, and one PC/104 bus for other expanded applications. Other features include a 32-pin SSD socket supporting Disk-on-chip up to 288MB, an external RTC, one EIDE interface, 2 USB, 1 parallel, and 2 COM ports, one of which can be configured as RS-232/422 or RS-485.
