The product includes support sales technical support for all PCI interrupts, extended address range for UNIX/SCO XENIX compatibility, an interrupt status port for greater data throughput, and · All products carry a two year DOS, Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000 compatibility for worry free data warranty communications. Windows 95/98/ME/2000 automatically configures the WINCOMM8/PCI, therefore drivers are not required. Drivers are provided for Windows NT. The Model WINCOMM8/PCI-55 and -59 utilize the 16C554 UART. This chip features programmable baud rate, data format, interrupt control and a 16-byte input and output FIFO, and is functionally four 16C550 UARTS. The Model WINCOMM8/PCI-85 and WINCOMM8/PCI-89 utilizes the 16C854 UART which has a 128-byte FIFO for high speed applications.
