The IndustryPack bus clock is space for retrieving software selectable on a per-slot basis between 8 and 32 MHz. IndustryPack vectors The standard 8 MB memory space is available for each IndustryPack site. High- • Software-compatible with speed 32-bit PCI host address space permits desirable linear mapping and fixed the PCI-40A address partitions of memory, I/O and ID spaces for each IndustryPack module. The PCI-40B uses a PLX PCI9080 controller as the PCI bus interface chip and Altera • Reduced memory-map FPGA logic, which provides fully configurable PCI interrupt vector space. The PCI version available bus interface supports both 3.3V and 5.0 V signaling. Each IndustryPack site has an adjacent 50-pin flat ribbon connector for extending the host I/O signals. One connector is accessible via the rear-panel. The standard connector permits most of SBS Technologies transition modules and terminal blocks to be used. The PCI-40B meets the PCI specification specification rev 2.1 and conforms to the VITA-4 IndustryPack Logic Interface Specification. This guarantees compatibility with a wide range of IndustryPacks.
