RHC-IDE-2R is designed to be a reliable and affordable solution for RAID (Redundant Arrays of Independent Disks) level 1 disk mirroring. With a cost-effective IDE approach, the RHC-IDE-2R mirrors data to two hard drives simultaneously and delivers optimized performance. If one drive fails, the other immediately takes over and an alarm sounds to alert users of the failure. Featuring intelligent on-line recovery, the RHC-IDE-2R provides complete protection to systems data. You can hot-swap a failed drive and the RHC-IDE-2R will rebuild the data automatically to the new drive without any data loss. No device driver is required for RHC-IDE-2R because it is host transparent and OS independent. Featuring an unique 5.25” Full-Height form factor, mobile rack and LED design, the RHC-IDE-2R lets you easily install backup hard drives, or replace a failed drive.
