PIT-1501W provides patients with various entertainment programs such as TV, movies or computer games with its Microsoft Windows XP Embedded and Intel Atom 1.1 GHz/ 1.6 GHz processor. Patients can easily communicate with families via the web with the 1.3 megapixel camera, WiFi and Ethernet (RJ-45) connectivity, which are standard functions of PIT-1501W. Identification recognition for both hospital staff and patients is possible with the RFID and smart card reader. The standard I/O ports of PIT-1501W such as USB ports, earphone and microphone jack generate more flexibility for various applications. Additionally, important incidents can be noticed immediately due to LED light indicators and a nurse's call button.
