This medical device is UL60601-1/EN60601-1 approved. The low-current-leakage of this UPS enables it act as an ideal and secure short-term backup power solution for patients and hospital practitioners. The MUPS-300 offers two-way AC outputs. One is a bypass and the other is the UPS backup function. The power to bypass slots are provided from direct AC power. Power to UPS backup slots are from battery. The MUPS-300 could offer backup power during unexpected loss of power and ensures medical equipment can be safely operated and shut down. Specially designed to protect against power surges and voltage spikes from the AC source, the MUPS-300 protects equipment and patients from dangerous electrical events. There is a LED on the MUPS-300 to indicate MUPS-300 is running in charge mode or battery mode. The LED will also blink faster when the backup power is starting to run out. The MUPS-300 offers free software to let users manage power status, which is convenient for medical professionals to control power management quickly and easily.
