It is compatible with the PCI 2.1 bus specification and has four surge protected, RS-232/422/485 ports.It features functions such as high transmission speed at 921.6 kbps, four independent RS-232/422/485 ports, optional surge protection etc. The MIC-3612 also comes with high- 8 performance 16PCI954 UARTs with 128-byte FIFO to reduce CPU load. These components make the it more stable and reliable. Thus, the MIC-3612 is especially suitable for eConnectivity multitasking environments. To improve the performance of the system, the MIC-3612 allows transmission rates up to 921.6 kbps. To further increase reliability, the MIC-3612 offers surge protection technology, protecting your system from abrupt high voltage of 2500 V . Besides, Advantech also provides a convenient utility program, ICOM Tools, to help users test the CompactPCI card 9 DC ICOM performance by analyzing the port status. It’s easy to use the menu commands and toolbar buttons. ICOM tools acts as a PC-based data scope that lets you set a trigger condition, capture the communication data and monitor the signal status.
